When I set out on a new website project for a client, it’s never about trying to get recognized for that work outside the confines of my relationship with that client. Before any project begins, I have a discovery session with that client, seeking to learn about their brand overall, the goals of their business, and any specific vision and functionality needs for their website to become a true asset to their business. My goal is simply to help them succeed with as much efficiency, ease, and joy, as possible. While I do reference what’s happening in today’s world of web design trends, I’m never hard-focused on making something that could fit a list of best web designs according to whoever has a critical opinion of web design. I’m far more concerned about making something that might mean “best web design” to the client I’m building it for – a website, designed and developed in such a way that it makes them feel proud of their business presence online and confident in its ability to support the growth of their business.

But, sometimes in life, we’re surprised with unexpected recognition of the good work we believe we’re doing. And that’s why I’m writing this post today. DesignRush – a B2B Marketplace and agency directory – recently featured my responsive website design work for Juniper Mountain House in a list of “10 Website Designs with Stunning Visuals that Promise High Engagement“. I’m elated over the unexpected recognition, which just leaves me yearning to do more exciting projects.

Is your website engaging your customer base and encouraging them to do business with you? Are your leads and sales where you want them to be? Do you feel a burst of entrepreneurial excitement when you pull up your own website, because you think it’s one of the best web designs in your market? Are you making the path between your customers and your product or service as clear and easy as possible?

If you’re leaning towards “no” with any of those questions, or have any other concerns related to your website or general online presence, maybe it’s time to consider a change or update. Get in touch, let’s talk about the ways elevated responsive web design, custom development, or digital marketing could make a difference for your business.
